Convention
Dear friend,
we need your help to host our members who will arrive in Milan from all around Italy for the international conference of 2015. As you know the Biodynamic Association is trying to make this convention an event of great impact in Italy, in collaboration with the prestigious Bocconi University. We want that everyone understands the value of Biodynamics and we want to open a crucial debate on the agricultural model at Expo 2015. That’s fundamental for biodynamic farmers and for the whole planet.
Organizing a convention with a strong impact on the country has very high costs. Despite this we are succeeding and we are committed, with tremendous effort to ensure free access to all. We want no one to be excluded. Association members who come from far away will have however high costs of accommodation in Milan. It’s hard right now to find rooms for the period of the convention, given the proximity to Expo. From these and other reflections comes the idea to “Host a member”. We know that the Biodynamic Association has many members and supporters in Milan and nearby, so it is for the world of Waldorf schools and the Antroposophic Foundation.
ìHost a memberî asks you to accommodate to sleep one or more Association members who wish to participate at the convention (according to your possibilities). From this will arise certainly new friendships, and fraternal exchanges for the future.
We ask you to help this great effort and adhere to “Host a member”. You can communicate your willingness to host filling out the application below and send it to: monica.muto@gmail.com; we will contact you and let you know the member that will be your host. Biodynamic world is increasingly founded on the idea that “Biodynamic agriculture is rooted in healthy sociability.”
Here it is the registration form to be filled and send NON LATER THAN THE 15th FEBRUARY 2015.
If you choose to book the two dinners or if you subscribe to the Association, in addition to the registration form below, you have to send proof of payment by email at info@biodinamica.org or by fax at: 00392 29000692. Booking to dinners will not be valid in the absence of proof of payment sent not later than the 15th February 2015.
The 33rd International Convention of Biodynamic Agriculture is organized in collaboration with the Bocconi University of Milan, with many patronages, including that of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Fai-Fondo Ambiente Italiano Fund, the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation, the Scientific Committee for Expo 2015.
The convention is open to everybody and is free-entry, including lunch in Bocconi with tasting of biodynamic products. It will take place at the Bocconi University and Franco Parenti Theatre.
Association members, friends and Convention contributors will meet on Thursday 19, from 17:30 at the theatre of the Rudolf Steiner School in Milan for a collective reflection on the conference, a deepening of biodynamic topics and a dinner hosted by the School.
